Jillian James

Jillian James brings more than a decade of leadership experience in product strategy, innovation, and risk management technology to Fortress.

Prior to joining Fortress, Jillian helped establish and lead the Product Management function at Exiger LLC, where she played a key role in defining product strategy, building high-performing teams, and driving growth across the company's Third-Party Risk and Supply Chain Risk Management portfolios. Over her 12-year tenure, she led multiple successful product launches and supported hundreds of commercial and U.S. government customers.

Throughout her career, Jillian has been passionate about helping organizations identify, assess, and mitigate complex risks. Her expertise spans threat detection, cybersecurity, risk and exposure management, and the application of technology to strengthen organizational resilience.

Before entering the private sector, Jillian served as a U.S. AmeriCorps member, demonstrating an early commitment to public service and mission-driven leadership. She earned a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and holds a BA from Birmingham-Southern College.
