Fason is a dynamic and energetic leader with a people-centric approach and a record of excelling in challenging situations bringing positive, measurable change to organizations and over 17 years of experience in cyber security, risk management, operations, and leadership. As Vice President of Security Solutions, Fason is accountable for operations of Fortress’ Asset Vulnerability Management, Continuous Monitoring, File Integrity Assurance, and Product Security organizations serving the Critical Infrastructure, Manufacturing, and Department of Defense business lines.
Prior to his current position, Fason served as the Director of Cyber Security Solutions at Fortress Information Security. In his role, he was responsible for operations and delivery of Fortress’ product and asset focused solutions. The programs served Critical Infrastructure and Department of Defense business lines. Before that, he spent 7 years providing advisory consulting services with Deloitte’s Threat & Vulnerability Management group. As a technical Senior Manager, Fason led client engagements in security strategy and program development, IT risk and controls, offensive cyber security testing, application security, and cyber threat & vulnerability management across multiple industries.
Prior to his roles in the commercial space, Fason served as an Information Warfare Officer in the United States Navy achieving the rank of Lieutenant before being permanently retired.

Education
Fason holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School.
