As Chief Technology Officer, Matt is responsible for Fortress’ software development organization. With more than 15 years of experience working with both startup and established companies, Matt has been involved in enterprise, B2B, embedded application and consumer projects.

Matt brings technology and product development expertise across a variety of industries, including Healthcare, Automotive, Critical Infrastructure, Risk Management, and Consumer Electronics. With a B.S. in Computer Science, he has hands-on technical development experience and a deep understanding of the development lifecycle.

Matt has managed projects that were awarded multiple CES awards, including best innovation (disruptive tech) and best in show, and additionally, in a previous role, led an initiative that pioneered an industry-first digital exchange for healthcare documents, which resulted in over 20 IHE healthcare certifications for 4 consecutive years.
